Thyroid

Thyroid one of the most important organs of our body, a gland which sits in front of our throat and creates hormones which provides, regulates and uses the energy our body needs to operate. And when our body fails to produce enough thyroid hormones, the natural functions of the body begins to slow down. This is known as hypothyroidism.

One of the most common cause for this is when the autoimmune system of the body isn’t regulated and the immune system ends up attacking the healthy tissues of the body. It is a very common condition in India, with its severity varying from person to person and its visible symptoms progressing gradually as they age.

The another condition of Thyroid is known as Hyperthyroidism. It occurs when the thyroid gland produces T4 and T3 hormones in excess. The usual cause for this disorder is the Graves’ disease, a condition often found among women when their antibodies coerces the thyroid gland to secrete more than usual hormones.
